Planning Ahead with London Music Tours

Post updated 25th November 2025

Adam writes… From around November onwards I start to get your emails and DMs enquiring about tours for the following year. In the dark nights of winter, everybody’s making plans to travel, travel, travel.

We’ve all cracked the spines on those new guidebooks… and we’re all getting high off highlighter pen fumes. We’ve stuck colourful Post-It notes on the pages with a million-and-one things we’re going to do every single day of our trip. Our Lonely Planet guide book looks like a pocket Chelsea Flower Show with all the colourful stickers. Lists are made. New shoes are considered. We’re applying that Dualingo streak to trying to figure out how to say “Can you show me the way to Jim Morrison’s grave?” in French.

And it’s all VERY exciting.

Busy Times

My busiest times are high summer – so June and July – and around the Bank Holidays. You can find my full Bank Holiday availability for 2026 HERE.

Christmas is also a very busy time. NB I do not offer tours on Christmas Day but can always recommend an excellent colleague who will. At Christmas 2025 the London Music Tours office will close on the 23rd December and open again on the 26th (the 26th, Boxing Day 2025, is available for tours).

As you might imagine, weekends are usually busier than weekdays so planning ahead is always advised. Having said that, I can sometimes accommodate short notice bookings. For more on that, read HERE.

I’m proud to say that London Music Tours does NOT increase its prices for high season, but it is harder to get the slot you want the later you leave your booking.

Scheduled Tours

I offer a full schedule of walking tours 11 months of the year, from March to January. Check out the latest schedule HERE. For all of my non-music-themed, general London history tours visit the famous London Walks company website HERE.
