Can I book a private tour at short notice?
Can I book a private tour at short notice? The short answer is YES.
Since the pandemic it seems that many of us have changed the way we book our events. The big change is that more-and-more people seem to be leaving it until the last minute to finalise their plans. In response to this change, London Music Tours is ready for your spontaneous bookings!
NB. It’s always best to try and book a private tour in advance of course. That way you are more likely to get the date and the time that you want for your private tour.
Having said that… short notice bookings can often be accommodated. Those of you who follow London Music Tours on the socials will know, I am always very busy leading tours. But if I am free, I can even handle on-the-day bookings. I am based in London and can meet you in the West End with as little as 45 minutes notice.

…recently booked me for a Saturday morning tour with around 36 hours notice, and we had a lovely time celebrating their first wedding anniversary. (congratulations again guys!).
It was a particularly busy time of year (between Christmas and New Year) and I only had one slot left in their timeframe. But they were pretty easy-going about a time slot and we had a very enjoyable Saturday morning.
If you are flexible about the time of your tour, a short notice booking shouldn’t be a problem. To reiterate, booking in advance means that you are much more likely to get the slot that you want.
Busy Times Of Year
As you might expect the busy times of year for private tours are holiday times. The week between Christmas and New Year, U.S Spring Break, UK school holidays, NFL and MLB weekends are the peak times. I’m proud to say that London Music Tours does NOT increase its prices for high season, but it is harder to get the slot you want the later you leave your booking.
So hit me up for a short notice booking any time – if I’m not free, I will almost certainly be able to recommend a good guide who is!
