50 Years of Punk In London
50 Years of Punk In London
On the eve of the 50th anniversary of The Sex Pistols’ infamous, drunken, expletive-laden teatime TV interview with Bill Grundy, we remember The Filth and the Fury.
Track listing to be drawn from The Pistols, The Clash, The Damned, Siouxsie & the Banshees, The Slits. London is our focus but we’ll also head for the Lower East Side of Manhattan for The Ramones. Roots, influences, politics, places and more.
This meeting will form the basis for a new walking tour in 2027.
This episode & subsequent tour was requested by Ian Grieve
