The Great Rock’n’Roll Pub Quiz Walk

What’s A Pub Quiz Walk?

In short: it’s a guided walking tour AND a pub quiz.

You’ll be getting a guided tour from an expert guide (Visit England Tourism Superstar finalist, qualified Westminster Guide with Distinction) and we’ll explore a neighbourhood from a music history and trivia angle. We’ll stop at the pub along the way to have a quiz.

The Format

The evening is in six parts and should take roughly two-and-a-half to three hours…

Part 1: A short walking tour

Part 2: First pub stop, get yourself a drink and your guide will hand out quiz sheets for you to fill in the answers.

Part 3: A second short walking tour

Part 4: Second pub stop. As before, get yourself a drink and your guide will hand out quiz sheets for you to fill in the answers.

Part 5: Third very short walking tour

Part 6: Third pub to check answers and find a winner!

Adam writes…

This series is a revival of an old idea of mine from way back in 2011 when I hosted The Great Circle Line Pub Crawl & Pub Quiz with the famous London Walks company. Every week we did 3 stops on the Circle Line, a guided tour and a pub quiz. It was a lot of fun! I’ve staged pub quiz walks on-and-off ever since and they are always popular for private tours, especially office groups.

Then during the lockdown, there was often a quiz element to my early virtual tours on Zoom and I also compiled a Quiz Book to keep my regulars busy when they couldn’t go anywhere. But now we CAN go out again. So what are we waiting for? What else are we going to be doing on a Monday night?

FAQ

Is it a pub crawl?

Kinda but not really. You could do a pub crawl on your own, no? Why pay for someone to take you to the pub? We will stop at 2 pubs and end at a third.

What is the max number for a team?

Five is the max number for a team.

What is the minimum number for a team?

One – if you’d like to play on your own that’s absolutely fine. In the past I have found that people tend to team up together with other tour participants that they have just met but that is entirely up to you.

How long does a Pub Quiz Tour last?

Roughly two-and-a-half to three hours.

Are Pub Quiz Walks bookable as private tours?

Yes they are. Drop me a line HERE to enquire.
