Adam writes… Half-way through November! Here’s how the rest of the month is shaping-up accompanied by a look ahead to December.

The scheduled London Music Tours programme starts to wind down a little bit — but there are still plenty of opportunities to Step In Time on a Music History Tour before the end of 2026.
And as we look ahead to December, I’m particularly looking forward to welcoming those of you who have booked a private London music tour over the Christmas and New Year period.
Office parties, pre-Christmas mini-breaks, music-loving friends and family groups getting together, or simply an opportunity to walk off some of the excesses of the season — December can be a wonderful time to explore London through its music history.
If you’re looking for music tours in London in November or December 2026, here’s what’s coming up.
London Music Tours in November 2026
There are six opportunities in November to join a scheduled London Music Tour during November, covering everything from The Rolling Stones and rock’n’roll to the Swinging Sixties and the National Portrait Gallery. And this months scheduled meeting of The Monday Night Music History Club on Zoom looms at the history of punk.
In December
December sees an extra outing for A Complete Unknown: Bob Dylan in 60s London to coincide with Bob’s visit to the Royal Festival Hall in early December.
A Complete Unknown follows Dylan’s arrival in London and the people, places and musical world he encountered during his time in the capital.
If you’re in London for Bob Dylan’s Royal Festival Hall appearance, this is a chance to explore some of the London locations connected with his remarkable story.
Thank You
As regular visitors to London Music Tours will know, I’m always looking for ways to improve the programme.
If there’s a musician, venue, neighbourhood, genre or period of London music history you’d particularly like to explore, I’d love to hear from you.
To have your say, please visit my Where Do You want To Go Next? page and fill in the questionnaire.
Thanks as ever to everyone who has joined me on a tour. It has been such an enjoyable year spending time with music fans from all across the globe. I’m greatly looking forward to stepping in time on a music history tour with you very soon
All best,
Adam
P.S. The London Music Tours office will be closed from Wednesday 23rd to Sunday 27th December 2026

Private London Music Tours Over Christmas and New Year
The Christmas and New Year period is always a popular time for private London music tours.
Private tours can be arranged for families, groups of friends, corporate groups, office parties and visitors looking for a more personal way to explore London’s musical history.
And because a private tour can be tailored to your group, there’s no need to choose from the scheduled programme.
Want The Beatles? The Rolling Stones? David Bowie? Jimi Hendrix? The Who? Bob Dylan? Punk? Rock’n’roll?
Or perhaps you’d like to combine several musical stories into one bespoke London music tour?
Get in touch and I’ll see what I can arrange.
Christmas Gift Vouchers

Looking for a Christmas present for a music fan?
A London Music Tours gift voucher makes it possible to give someone an experience rather than another present to put on a shelf.
Gift a walking tour of London’s musical history and let them choose the music story they’d like to explore.
The postal deadline for gift cards this year is 14 December 2026.
Please get in touch if you’d like to arrange a voucher.
Don’t forget – for all of my non-music-themed walking tours visit London Walks at www.walks.com.
